Président de l’Institut Jacques Delors, Enrico Letta est Doyen de l’Ecole des affaires internationales de Sciences Po Paris (PSIA) et ancien Président du Conseil des ministres italien.
Il a été ministre pour les politiques communautaires, le plus jeune ministre italien à ce jour, puis de l’Industrie, du Commerce et de l’Artisanat dans les gouvernements de Massimo D’Alema et Giuliano Amato. Député de l’opposition de 2001 à 2006, sous la XIVe législature, Letta retrouve le gouvernement, en 2006, comme secrétaire d’État à la présidence du Conseil des ministres, auprès de Romano Prodi.
Après avoir retrouvé les rangs de l’opposition, au lendemain des élections générales d’avril 2008, il devient, en 2009, vice-secrétaire du Parti démocrate (PD). Nommé président du Conseil en avril 2013, il forme un gouvernement de grande coalition. Il démissionne le 14 février 2014 de son poste de Premier Ministre.

Youngest Italian Minister yet, he started in as Minister for European Affairs and Minister of Industry and Trade in the governments of Massimo D’Alema and Giuliano Amato. Member of the Chamber of Deputies in the opposition from 2001 to 2006, Letta returns to the government in 2006 as a Secretary to the Council of Ministers under Romano Prodi.
After the general elections in April 2008, he becomes Vice-Secretary of the Democratic Party. He is appointed President of the Council of Ministers (Prime Minister) in April 2013 and forms a government of Grand Coalition. He resigns on the 14th of February 2014.
